Sitos means grain. This piece explores vagueness in language and is a play off of the Sorites Paradox.

A field is an area used for growing crops. In front of you are two fields: one of buckwheat and one of wheatgrass. You are invited to pick a blade off of each.

Are they still fields ? What if two people do the same thing? Three? What about when only one sprout remains? At which point does the piece cease to be a field?

  • Grown from seed organic wheatgrass. Subsequently juiced and consumed. Pulp composted.

  • Grown from seed organic buckwheat. Subsequently juiced and consumed. Pulp composted.

  • Coco coir made from discarded coconut husks. Composted with shoot roots.
